Stony Creek Harriette
Who in our family could forget Harriette(8 legs)? She was a diva and let everyone know it. She demanded attention and treats. She just tipped the scale at just over 4lbs so she was mad when we put her on a hay diet just to keep her at weight for shows. She would naturally pose for long periods at shows as if to say "of course, I'm here let's get it over with and pick me". She loved the attention and had such a thick head (HEC) and beauticul topline. One time she got best opposite breed and looked identical to Klicko's best of breed buck - we laughed when we took the wrong rabbit off the table...We almost got a new buck and Harriette almost went to a new home! Harriette never did provide us with any offspring but she proved to be one of our finest Harry Potter descendants that brought us a lot of joy to show.

Stony Creek Bear (Brood)
For a few years Bear was overlooked and sat idle at Stony Creek. He was massively huge and heavy. He was not a natural poser and extremely shy. However, once in your arms, he was extremely gentle and could be carried around for hours. This gentle giant surprised us all when we finally had enough courage to take a good look at him and use him on our top does. He had an ENOURMOUS head and great type (dispite not being able to pose). He can be traced back to Karrot Kreek's Axel (makes sense!). He contributes even today to descendents with big ol' heads, thick bone density and wide rumps.

Stony Creek McGuire
McGuire was very special from the start. As a baby he was easily identified by his curved left ear. He soon became the litter favorite and turned out to be a really nice show buck with 5 ARBA legs and many consecutive county fair and Ag fair show winnings. He has improved our program with beautiful thick bodies. Once in a while we will find a baby with a curved left ear (weird it is always the left) and think of McGuire.

Whiskey

Stony Creek Fire Ball (9 legs)
Stony Creek Whiskey (1 leg) And then there was Fireball and then Whiskey (names inspired by Florida-Georgia Line's hit song)...
Fireball was a decendant of Harry Potter and turned heads where ever she would go. With 9 legs and many BOSs, there was no denying her beauty and color. When we would show these two, other breeders would sometime heckle us as to why we brought them. We're not sure why the agouti color was not a favored color amongst the breeders for showing. The Agouti genetics are essential for throwing different color patterns and to improve bone density. It was an experience nonetheless to see her win or be at the top of her class and then to go home to create excitement and guess the colors in the nesting box. She gave us Whiskey who, like her mother, had a great pose and beautiful type. We still keep an agouti or two in our rabbitry to bring out certain colors when we need it most. Patti - one of many descendants from Fire Ball (2 legs)
